Who we are (data controller)
ERLÍK is developed and maintained by 2Run — Halil Ertekin, Rollekens 83, 2400 Mol, Belgium · VAT BE 1038.480.317 · info@erlik.be. Because ERLÍK processes no data on any server controlled by us, 2Run acts as controller only for the minimal contact e-mail you choose to send us.
Short version
ERLÍK is private by design: 100% of your data stays on your Mac. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or analyze any of your data. There are no accounts, no servers, no telemetry and no third-party trackers.
What ERLÍK stores, and where
ERLÍK records activity metadata (application names, window titles, project/branch names), optional clipboard text history and your in-app settings. Everything is written to a local SQLite database inside your own macOS Application Support folder (~/Library/Application Support/erlik/ or, for the Mac App Store version, the app's sandbox container). The data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use an optional feature described below.
Optional features you control
- Weekly report by e-mail / webhook: only if you enter your own e-mail address or Discord webhook URL in settings. The report is generated on your Mac and sent to the destination you chose. We have no access to it.
- iCloud sync (open-source distribution): if enabled, data syncs through your own iCloud account between your own devices. Apple acts as the storage provider; we never see it.
Mac App Store version
The App Store version runs fully sandboxed. It contains no analytics SDKs, performs no update checks against external servers, and transmits no data off your device. It works offline.
Children
ERLÍK is a developer/professional tool, is not directed at children, and collects no data from anyone — including children.
Your rights (GDPR/KVKK)
Because all data stays on your machine, you are the sole controller of your data: you can view, export or delete everything at any time from within the app (or by deleting the database file). There is nothing held on our side to access, port or erase.
